Philippines Outreach

The Philippines, officially the Republic of the Philippines, is an archipelagic country in Southeast Asia. In the western Pacific Ocean, it consists of 7,641 islands, with a total area of 321,918 square kilometers, which are broadly categorized in three main geographical divisions from north to south: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The Philippines is bounded by the South China Sea to the west, the Philippine Sea to the east, and the Celebes Sea to the south. It shares maritime borders with Taiwan to the north, Japan to the northeast, Palau to the east and southeast, Indonesia to the south, Malaysia to the southwest, Vietnam to the west, and China to the northwest. It is the world's twelfth-most-populous country, with diverse ethnicities and cultures. Manila is the country's capital, and its most populated city is Quezon City; both are within Metro Manila.

This is where our last outreach was.

"sea gypses" village

A tribe called the Bajua lives in these houses on stilts. We got to go out spread the love of Jesus to them, even if it seemed a bit hard to get around.

Always room for one more

We took many different form of transport to take the gospel to wherever God asked us to.

Cultural exchange

They love karaoke so we went out and had food and fun with them to relax and build relationship.

Teaching time

We would preach at different church's every Sunday.

The local flavor

We had a few cultural exchange nights that where very enjoyable.

YWAM Butuan

Our first stop once we got there, great new family members waiting for us on the other side of the world.

Small Group Time

One of our Wednesday night youth programs. We split everyone up into small groups after the lesson to help them process what they had learned.
